RE: Dacre Street – road closure notice
Multiplex has been appointed as main contractor for the construction of The Broadway – Northacre’s landmark transformation of 10 Broadway in Westminster.
We are writing to inform you in advance of the closure of Dacre Street within approved planning permission. The closure is starting from 14th September 2020 and is planned 24 hours shutdown, until the 28th September 2020.
The road will be fully closed to vehicles. This is to notify in advance no access will be maintained for any services a part from Thames Water, UKPN and Reach Active works. We would highly recommend deliveries to businesses based at Dacre Street to re-arrange or collect by Dean Farrar Street and/or Broadway.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times via a diversion of the existing pathway. Diversion notices will be put in place. We will use signage, turtle gate barriers and traffic marshals to allow access to pedestrian to businesses and properties.
We are working together to ensure there is minimal inconvenience to residents and the local community with adequate vehicular directional signage.
